Ron Greene is a fully experienced insurance agent. Since 1993, Ron has worked in the financial services Industry in a variety of high-profile roles. He has been a stockbroker, commodities broker, investment advisor and insurance agent.
After 2009, Ron stepped away from the financial services industry professionally, choosing instead to spend more time on his home, family life and other desired ventures.
Upon deciding to re-enter the industry again professionally, finding the right company was challenging. The decision to work with Polley Life was easy because it was mainly due to each other’s value for independence as well as the commitment to upholding a true fiduciary role.
Today, as an insurance agent the whole array of Ron’s experience is put forth for the benefit of his clients. He specializes in building, protecting and managing one’s wealth. By sharing the knowledge and experience he’s obtained over the past three decades, he truly enjoys helping others to understand how to succeed in an otherwise complicated industry.
Ron will tell you that in order for an individual’s financial plan to be successful, you need to actually have a plan. His two favorite sayings are:
1. If you fail to plan, you have basically planned to fail;
2. Most people spend more time planning for a barbecue than they do for their own financial futures.
Ron was born and raised in New York City and had his first real job right out of high school on Wall Street with Merrill, Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith. His four years he spent there opened his eyes to the markets and it was the beginning to his understanding of the way things work within finance. Ultimately it moved him to further educate himself, which is what he’s done ever since.
Ron has a Computer Science degree, four children, five grandchildren, loves sports, and passes his time reading about world history, and the markets and its history. And when time permits, you’ll find him on a beach enjoying the ocean or in a boat in the middle of nowhere.
